Program areas at AsOne Ministries
Capital Development Expansion In 2023, AsOne Ministries Uganda continued to further its mission by investing in new capital projects to help serve rural underserved areas across Uganda. This was reflected in building two new school campuses, opening four new health centers, a new tailoring business, an additional farm, adding school vehicles, and adding additional infrastructure capacity at current operating entities.
Community Engagement In 2023, we brought teams of volunteers from the United States to learn more about the work of AsOne in Uganda. We had 110 volunteers travel to Uganda to help serve through providing leadership conferences, schools camps, training teachers, pastors, and other professionals. Through these programs we were also able to partner with students as schools by providing 65 scholarships.
Uganda Operating Deficit Subsidy In 2023, AsOne Ministries Uganda was 62 self-sustaining. AsOne utilized operational funding to subsidize our Ugandan operating costs, including salaries, utilities, inventory, supplies and other operating expenses. This helped the organization serve over 38,000 individuals in 2023 through creating jobs, providing primary and secondary education, providing life changing medical care services, training farmers through extension services, and equipping youth through skills training.
