Environmental education:to support general operations of aces; to facilitate the use of local food and identifying sustainable modes of operation for school based garden programs;to help maintain garden management services, and establish a community support system for the students to combine the arts of gardening, cooking and business, and through the planning and creation of a community forest garden on half of the fenced garden;to increase the amount of recycling opportunities on the campus, reduce the amount of single use water bottles, and decrease the amount of energy used on school grounds; to support the 2014 youth program, engaging hundreds of youth in outdoor stewardship and accomplishing critical trail maintenance work throughout the greater roaring fork valley

Land conservation, wildlife, and habitat protection:to support efforts to protect in-stream flows in the upper Colorado river from kremmling to glenwood springs; to engage,inform, and motivate members of local communities to pursue an environmentally responsible update to the federal land use plan for the area;to support the maroon bells trail reconstruction project;to support the elk mountains fourteeners trail maintenance and data collection project;to support the maroon bells-snowmass wilderness campsite rehabilitation project;
