Program areas at Aspire Medical Services and Education
Medical Services: our Medical Services include free pregnancy testing, early ultrasound exams, affordable prenatal care (up to 36 weeks) provided by our Medical doctor every week, well woman exams, sti/std testing and treatment, and childbirth/prenatal Education in a safe and supportive environment. In 2022 we performed 110 pregnancy tests, 98 ultrasounds, 16 sti tests, 387 clinic visits, 8 postpartum visits, and 13 well woman exams.
Client Services: our client Education Services provide parents and caregivers of children prenatal to age 3 with personalized coaching & tools to positively impact a child's healthy development. Through one-on-one mentoring, individual Education and group classes, both men and women 'earn' boutique bucks while they learn about pre and post-natal care, childbirth, positive life choices, discipline/parenting techniques, milestones, and practical life skills. Then they can spend their boutique bucks to buy baby equipment, diapers, & supplies. Our goal is to help every child born in archuleta county thrive physically, socially, & emotionally by the time they enter preschool. There were 1449 client visits and 234 unique clients in 2022.
