Assistance Dogs International

Adi is a coalition of worldwide non profit organizations that train and place Assistance Dogs. As of december 2023, adi's membership consisted of 159 accredited member organizations and 54 candidate programs across 28 countries. In 2023, 14 members successfully completed their very thorough accreditation process. 22 new candidate programs have been approved to work towards their accreditation process. During 2023, there has been growth in membership, digital id card usage, the International breeding cooperative, communications, and member engagement. Adi launched their new partnership program to build mutually beneficial partnerships with companies and organizations that care about the high standards in the Assistance Dogs' industry. Also, adi began the process of bringing back the instructor certification program to their members. The adi board of directors approved the new program in 2023 and is now testing the program by having select individuals undergo the certification process. Once these individuals are certified, they will become evaluators who will review the certification materials of future applicants.
