Program areas at ABC
Membership development and social functions, provide superior programs and services to give 634 member companies a competitive advantage to add value to the industry's clients, and to enhance the lives of the industry's employees.
The project jumpstart program provides education and training to disadvantaged individuals to enable them to gain admission into the apprenticeship program and ultimately to gain employment in the construction field. Starting in july 2021, the apprenticeship program was operated by project jumpstart, inc, an unrelated entity. The program has had minimum activities since then.
Craft training and gima - the craft training program provides management services for a related organization that provides training to approximately 500 individuals in order to expand their knowledge of the construction industry. Gima markets group insurance programs to trade associations and other business groups and entities in the state of Maryland.
