Program areas at AE
Consulting: ae consults with businesses on topics including: handbook reviews and policy information; job descriptions; recruiting; coaching employees and management; strategic planning; human resource partnering and assessments; labor relations; affirmative action plans; investigations; and workforce strategies. In the last fiscal year ae provided 12 different service offerings for over 56 businesses.
Public training: public training and development classes are offered in either a live or a recorded format. Topics include: employment law; managing performance and behaviors of staff; reasonable suspicion; management excellence; coaching; payroll and others. Over 200 trainings were offered during fiscal year 2023,including webinars. Over 1,200 individuals participated in training led by five instructors.
On-site training and development: ae provides on-site classes that are customized to include various hr topics, including: employment, wage and hour laws and regulations; harassment in the workplace; ada/fmla/worker's compensation; and management recruiting, discipline and termination. In addition business development trainings include: leadership and management development; train the trainer; customer service; and managing the generation gap. During the fiscal year ended may 31, 2023, ae conducted on-site training at over 75 businesses focusing on eighteen different topics with 35% of the businesses receiving assistance in leadership and management development.
Other program services consists of: compensation studies; surveys; recruitment; etc.
