Government affairs - advocate on behalf of the generic pharmaceutical and biosimilars industry with respect to federal, state, and municipal rules, laws, and orders affecting the industry.
Communications & marketing - educating policymakers, media, patients and other stakeholders about the economic and therapeutic contributions of generic and biosimilars Medicines as well as their safety and efficacy; producing and sharing patient and taxpayer savings data and stories of patients whose health is saved, improved and maintained by generic and biosimilars Medicines; disseminating instructional materials and curriculum to promote the safe use, storage and disposal of prescription Medicines.
Policy & strategic alliances - identify policy issues affecting the generic pharmaceutical and biosimilars industries and facilitate development of policy positions among our member companies; work with the agencies of the u.s. government, and state and international bodies to educate and communicate policy positions on strategic priorities; develop data to support advocacy initiatives and publish white papers, reports and other policy resources; build relationships with third-party stakeholders across supply chain, patient, provider, consumer, and other sectors to support advocacy initiatives.
