Association for Advancing Physician and Provider Recruitment (ASPR)

Annual conference - organized an annual conference for members to learn the most up-to-date industry tool and trends available to help recruit and retain physicians in their community. It also offers invaluable opportunities to network with colleagues from across the us and canada. Nearly 1,000 attendees attend the conference. The conference included several keynotes and various breakout sessions.

Journal - publishes the roar magazine of the aappr on a semi-annual basis. Each issue of roar is sent to approximately 12,500 people and includes valuable information on Physician Recruitment and retention trends.

Certification program - the certified physician/provider Recruitment professional provides an in-depth view of recruiting basics such as sourcing, screening, and interviewing, as well as delving deeper into advanced topics such as interpreting benchmarking metrics and understnading/implementing medical staff development plans. Recruitment professionals who pass the exam to earn the cprp certificiation are equipped with resources, best practicies, and cutting edge training that is put to use every day in order to recruit and retain top candidates for their hosptial and health systems, as well as to influence hiring practices in the Provider workforce.
