Program areas at Association for Asian Studies
Meeting and conferences to facilitate contact and exchange of information among scholar to increase the understanding of Asia. The Association conducts numerous regional and council meetings, and an annual meeting for over 3,000 members and non-members.
Membership dues includes the activity to run and operate a professional service organization.
Publications including the Journal of Asian Studies, Bibliography of Asian Studies, Education About Asia, and publication developed for members and subscribers. Circulations of the journal is approximate 7,000.
Other activity includes career development for our membership, and administration of grants and other funding opportunities for research and educational programs related to the field of Asian Studies.
