The programs featured expert speakers who educated senior care health professionals on clinical and operational topics designed to improve the care they provide to senior and geriatric patients. Pharmacy student Education initiative description: ame's student Education initiative provides Education to current students enrolled at each of Florida's colleges of pharmacy. Ame educates students on the profession of consultant pharmacy and the practice of providing Medication therapy management to geriatric patients. Consultant pharmacist preceptor program description: ame's ongoing preceptor program facilitates preceptors for newly licensed consultant pharmacists. Ame educates newly licensed consultant pharmacists and connects them with current consultant pharmacists of record at health facilities. Services provided: Education and career development for newly licensed consultant pharmacists. Number of persons benefited: 26 in 2017
