Association for Size Diversity and Health

- provides community with access to haes professionals and activists from around the world. - hosts monthly events and an annual conference to support ongoing education and advocacy to dismantle weight stigma in medical settings. Ensuring that service providers, educators, and advocates dismantle weight centered Health policies and practices.the organization provided the following during the fiscal year:- education opportunities to 690 individuals to increase their understanding of issues related to Health and weight.- member events such as networking and community building to 368 members.- community events to build community, increase advocacy, and support those most impacted by fatphobia to 957 individuals. - an annual conference to educate, advocate, and community-build to 278 individuals. The organization also created the following:- technology solutions and processes for a Health at every Size provider listing increase access to compassionate care for those most impacted by fatphobia. Enlisted over 150 profiles for the listing this year. - a statement and petition against the harmful aap guidelines for higher weight kids and teens. 995 individuals signed the petition.- created the infrastructure for a new and improved provider listing and began accepting provider profiles for the listing.
