Program areas at AWIS

Membership - Services include publications on scientific studies and access to digital resources. A quarterly magazine is provided to members that provides resources to promote women in the fields of science and technology. Also, members receive support through mentoring of individuals via a network of chapters and advice on achieving work life balance. Job opportunities for members are posted in the magazine and through web notices.
Outreach and public education - respond to queries regarding women in science ranging from general statistics to requests for specific information on resources for funding. Includes website and digital resources on science policy, grant opportunities and upcoming events.
