Each activity contributes to helping low-income individuals and families achieve economic self-sufficiency and stability.
The Louisiana housing corporation (lhc) and the Association of Community Action partnerships of Louisiana (acap) have entered into a contract to achieve the following objectives: (1) for acap to facilitate quarterly meetings with cap agencies; (2) conduct monthly meetings with lhc; (3) submit monthly progress and performance reports; (4) work with lhc to develop communication information to cap agencies; (5) work with program and executive management staff to develop and implement new procedures related to administration of the low income home energy assistance program (liheap) and weatherization assistance program (wap); (6) any other related tasks as deemed necessary between the parties during the term of the contract.
Member organizations pay dues to contribute to program expenses incurred throughout the year.
