Program areas at Association of Community College Trustees
Conventions and meetings - an annual congress was held in october 2022. The national legislative summit was held in february 2023. The governance leadership instutute was held in march 2023. The orientation of these meetings is related to acct's mission of promoting effective board governance through education and advocacy.
Membership services - acct offers a broad range of membership benefits to Community colleges, individual educators and state associations and others. Acct is comprised of over 550 member boards and over 6,500 Trustees who govern Community, technical and junior colleges throughout the united states. Acct's membership also includes state coordinating boards, advisory boards, governing boards, Community College state associations, as well as leading corporations serving Community colleges.
Board leadership services - acct provides members with planning, retreats and evaluations to acclimate Community College Trustees with their duties. Acct also assists member boards in the selection of College presidents and vice-presidents.
