Program areas at Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists
The 2022 annual meeting and exhibition brought together members of the Diabetes Care and Education Specialists community both in-person and on-demand. This is considered the premier event for Diabetes Education, Care and delivery, meeting the organization objectives to provide professional Education with an emphasis on the practice guidelines and competencies for Diabetes Care and Education Specialists.
Executive affairs encompasses liaison efforts with other non-profit medical organizations for the purpose of furthering Diabetes Education and prevention. This includes: partnership with related organization and industry further adces's mission, including several non-profit and international collaboration initiatives; development of patient Education and outreach materials; membership, board and committee communications; and oversight of board approved programs.
Continuing Education remains the key to maintaining best practices in Diabetes Care. Adces Education and professional development programs provide Diabetes Care and educational Specialists the tools, training and resources necessary to help their patients accomplish Diabetes self-maintenance goals. Multidisciplinary Education programs are career path targeted and include courses, seminars, webinars, publications, print materials and online resources.
