The AFP Oklahoma Chapter advances and promotes philanthropy by empowering people and organizations to practice ethical and effective professional fundraising. We do this through: Education & Training, Promoting Credentialing, Providing Resources, Networking, Mentoring, Advocacy and Recognition. Philanthropy, Voluntarism, and Grantmaking Foundations: Monthly luncheon meetings featuring a guest speaker. Each focuses on a specific fundraising topic such as: major gifts, board training, annual giving, volunteers, etc. (10 monthly luncheons/events).
