Program areas at Association of Independent School Admission Professionals
Annual Institute: This highly regarded annual program was offered to the independent school admission and enrollment profession at two different times and locations during the academic year. This multiple day program offered up to sixty professional development sessions and workshops to more than four hundred participants. Content covered topics ranging from operational practices in admission and enrollment to financial assistance strategies, marketing, communication, data management, and leadership development. Participant cohort groups met daily with their cohort leader to share proven methodologies, guidance, and camaraderie. Beyond the Institute, cohort groups had scheduled virtual meetings to continue to support and mentor the program participant throughout the school year.Leadership for Enrollment and Admission Professionals (LEAP): Our yearlong, cohort-based program is designed specifically for professionals in the admission and enrollment field. The combination of in-person and virtual learning sessions engage the participant to help develop and enhance their leadership skills while tackling enduring and emergent challenges within the independent school community.Financial Aid Summit: This program is one of four topic-focused programs in the Summit program category. This one and a half day annual in-person program provided a financial aid focused curriculum to the more than one hundred admission and enrollment, financial aid, and business officer participants. Sessions consisted of case studies, deep dives, and best practices relating to the financial aid process at independent schools. Breakout sessions with industry professionals allowed participants to receive added training on the industrys leading financial aid software tools.
