Enhance our communitys understanding of how to create and foster diversity, equity, and inclusion in surgery 2. Facilitate and amplify lgbtq+ Surgeons success through dedicated sponsorship and mentorship networks 3. Seek to be inclusive and supportive of lgbtq+ Surgeons with intersectional sexual and gender identities 4. To engage non lgbtq+ focused professional organizations/societies in order to assure the inclusivity of lgbtq+ members of those organizations equal access and voice
