Program areas at Association of the Churches of God in Oregon

Camp White Branch ts located 65 miles east of Springfield, OR in the Cascade Mountains and hosts children, youth and adult camps Its also rented to the general public for such things as (but not limited to) family reunions, outdoor schools, snow play, employer conferences, Camp White Branch has a dining hall, meeting place for conferences and evening services and cabins adequately host 150 campers. Between September 1, 2016 and August 31, 2017 Camp White Branch served 2,028 campers for a total of 2,864 camper days/nights. Camping programs provided outdoor activities for all ages and fellowship with other campers. In addition, speakers and worship leaders were scheduled to provide spiritual training and inspiration. These camps strive to provide a fun, safe place where individuals can concentrate on rest, recreation and spiritual renewal in their lives. The longer-term goal includes providing a place where individuals can be open to hearing about God's love for them and how this relates to their daily lives. The Association employs Leonard Meyer as full-time Facilities Manager and Stacey Meyer as part-time Reservations Manager Construction of a new multi-purpose building is underway at the camp. This new building will greatly increase the available meeting Space for campers. This will allow more groups to use Camp White Branch because they will be able to accommodate larger groups
Summer Impact (formerly Summer Celebration/Oregon State Campmeeting): Each year the Association sponsors a family event for five days/four nights. In July of 2017 this event had a daily attendance of 338. An average of 8 different conferences and services are offered daily for all ages and babysitting (infants-2 yrs. old) is provided during the evening services. Children (2 yrs.-5th grade have their own breakout sessions every evening. Youth (6th grade-12th grade) have their own morning and sometimes evening sessions throughout the event. Youth sessions include. teaching, worship, recreation, service projects, etc. Summer Impact's objective is to provide fellowship, educational seminars, worship opportunities and preaching for the purpose of spiritual growth and renewal for families that include members of all ages. Families attend from 45 Association churches. This annual family event accomplishes one of the Association's purposes by strengthening the local churches through ministering to their families. Both Socal and nationally known quest speakers and worship leaders are brought in for this event which is in it 122nd year. (Continued Sehredule Oye nee ee nen nee anne
Christian Women Connection offers ways to promote missions, friendship, personal growth and service to the women who are members of our Association churches. This year, Christian Women Connection again sponsored a 24-hour (overnight) Spring Convention with 28 women in attendance. The Fall Retreat was held over a 36-hour period (weekend) with 40 ladies in attendance At both of these events, quest speakers provided general sessions aimed at training and inspiration to promote personal growth for the women. Christian Women Connection has been especially active in receiving and dispersing donations for outreach projects The $26,210 in revenue contains all donations except for the registration fees for the Spring Convention and Fall Retreat. This year $820 was received from a Silent Auction and $426 from an annua! Ladies Tea/L uncheon sponsored by the Christian Women Connection. All revenues (except for registration monies) are dispersed as they are received. All monies continue to be dispersed for future women's ministry events. All revenues flow over into the next fiscal year to Continue women's ministry
