Program areas at Association of Wisconsin Snowmobile Clubs
Coordinated and managed the upkeep and grooming of Wisconsin Snowmobile trail system. This benefits not only the 37,224 family members, but all snowmobilers in the state.
Assists local Snowmobile Clubs by providing education, support, safety videos, brochures & guidance. Also provides these services to 606 established Clubs on an ongoing basis.
Provides certified safety classes to anyone interested (member and nonmembers) which is required for anyone ages 12 through 16 in order to operate a Snowmobile.
Publishes a snowmobiling magazine with eight issues per year to keep members informed of snowmobiling laws, education, safety issues, equipment & activities throughout the state. Benefits 37,224 family members, and 1,178 commercial members. 141,384 provided a workshop in the fall 49,849 provided a spring convention to learn about what effects them and snowmobiling 56,385 direct lobbying to promote favorable legislation for the family sport of snowmobiling. 8,587 donations to various universities, etc relating to Snowmobile education 12,224 international Snowmobile congress 20,277 youth group program 14,342 miss snowflake 7,022 snow friendly community program 6,808 dnr trail pass program, including credit card fees and computer system expense and depreciation 595,742 total 912,620
