The organization provided comprehensive, collaborative services to Homeless families working toward independence through the provision of emergency Shelter, transitional educationbased Shelter, and rapid rehousing. Aahs works toward this goal throuch three primary programs: almost home emergency Shelter, bridge to home transitional education Shelter, and going home rapid rehousing. While aahs facilities are located in athensclarke county ga, the organization serves those in need thourghout the state, and rehouses in clarke, jackson, oconee, oglethorpe, barrow, and madison counties. Services include case management, child care assistance, transportation, Shelter and rehousing assistance. In 2022, we provided Shelter and/or housing to 159 children and their families (69 families total of 240 people), as well as crisis management and/or referrals to 884 people seeking assistance..
