ATX Kids Club

In 2023, ATX KIDS CLUB provided year-round educational urban adventures within its three main programs, Summer Camp, School Holiday, and After-School. 413 new participants were enrolled in our programs and the after-school program was added to serve three different schools. We provided a total of 560 youth from 66 different zip codes with an opportunity to build their confidence, become curious, and develop a sense of independence. Our Summer Camp program explores the Austin metro area through riding public transit, while our other programs use both public transit and our vans to explore Austin and throughout the Central Texas region. There were a total of 213 campers that attended more than one program and 107 campers attended multiple weeks of Summer Camp. We provided 11 weeks of Summer Camp with 587 openings filled with 427 unique campers. We provided 44 School Holiday adventures filled with 28 unique campers. Our Teen Leadership Program that mentors in leadership skills with a pathway for seasonal employment, accepted 35 teens to participate for a minimum of 2 weeks over the summer camp program.
