Program areas at Aurora Historical Society
Operated, maintained, and continued improving two major museum sites, plus research archives, with an ambitious schedule of exhibits and related activities. Maintained collections of thousands of priceless Historical materials, including archival materials such as photos, documents, and three- demensional artifacts, all relating to Aurora history, preserving these for education of present and future generations. Continued to collect and preserve new materials to grow the collection. Offered outreach and eductaion through special events and activities, with Historical articals and pictorials online through our website, and through eblasts and individual correspondence with members, patrons, and the general public.
