The nutrition program is a program that provides meals and snacks to infnts and children in los angeles county within at-risk areas. Avalon-Carver delivered meals to 600 clients for the year ended june 30, 2023.
The prevention program provides cultural substance abuse and other prevention services to youth in south los angeles. In addition, it educates Community stakeholders around substances and current drug trends among youth and adults. The prevention program served 359 clients on a weekly basis for the year ended june 30, 2023.
