Year-round Film Program: We strive to bring our community film screenings and events to which they would not otherwise have access and offer several year-round film series featuring diverse content and films relevant to the community's needs and interests, including: a. Arthouse Series: The Arthouse Series runs year-round and offers screenings of independent films. The series features domestic and international titles, films that debut at premiere film festivals from around the world, and independent films from distributors like Kino Lorber, Magnolia, Neon, and Cohen Media.b. Vamos Juntos al Cine: In partnership with Corazon Healdsburg, this series brought back family-friendly Spanish language movies to the Raven Film Center and started a new drive-in movie tradition in Healdsburg. In an effort to make this series accessible to low-income community members, admission is free and open to the public. c. Outdoor Summer Series: This series includes drive-in movies at the Cloverdale Citrus Fair, outdoor movies in the Healdsburg Plaza, and popup screenings in various locations throughout Cloverdale. Throughout the summer, these free outdoor movie screenings bring generations of film fans together for a fun and unique way of taking in a film.
AVFest:AVFest regularly showcases and hosts new and emerging talents from all over the world. We create opportunities for the community, students and adults alike, to meet, interact with, and learn from visiting artists. We also offer deeply discounted tickets to students and neighbors in need so that everyone is included. The 9th Annual AVFest was a 10-day celebration featuring more than 100 screenings and events across five cities. Through the transformative power of film, AVFilm brings global perspectives into our community, builds partnerships to broaden our impact, and educates, empowers, and engages students of all ages.
