Family & child centers: Awaken Pittsburgh offers pre-k centers a three-part program that will start with building organizational support and training professional staff in mindfulness practices for their own health and wellbeing by presenting the mindful connections for educators. Once the staff has established a base of practice and understanding for themselves, Awaken Pittsburgh will work with staff to implement mindfulness with children and families served through our mindful connections for supporting families. Finally, we can offer a program that integrates mindfulness into work with parents and children through mindful connections for families. This will also serve as a way for staff and families to begin to see how to integrate mindfulness into their daily work and lives.
