Program areas at Awamaki Us

Awamaki U.S. funds capacity-building for women's cooperatives in Peru to help them learn to start and run their own businesses making traditional crafts and hosting tourists in their homes. We fund training, equipment and business startup costs. In 2021, our support also included emergency food relief. We also support our Peruvian partner organization in marketing artisan products in the U.S. Our programs benefit 200 artisans.
We support the Kuska school, an alternative farm school in Ollantaytambo, Peru.
