Memory wellness day services:center for Healthy Living provides adult memory wellness day services and integrative health and wellness programs to older adults Living with memory loss due to alzheimer's, stroke and age-related dementias, parkinson's, frailty, and social isolation. As a whole family solution, cfhl enables participating older adults to live more independently while providing much needed respoite to family caregivers. Additionally, each day is filled with a full range of engaging life enrichment activities, physical exercise, and therapeutic art and music therapies.
Outreach & education:a key component of cfhl's programming is outreach and education to The general public including caregivers, volunteers and collegiate interns. In addition to providing access to its resource library, cfhl hosts a series of bi-weekly support groups for families caring for individuals with dementia. Dedicated volunteers support The mission of The organization and cfhl serves as a community learning Center, sponsoring intership opportunities with numerous universities in The charlotte area and throughout The southeast. Cfhl also supports community organizations by providing its venue to host meetings and special events.
