Program areas at Backpacks for the Street
Backpacks for the street provides food, toiletries, clothing, hot meals, coronavirus-protection supplies and other necessities directly to homeless individuals. Addditionally, each person is offered information about other recources and services available, as well as help registering for those services. Over 14,000 people were served in 2020. Due to the effects of covid, over 26,000 have been served since march of 2020.
