Operating Head Start / Early Head Start program - Head Start promotes school readiness by enhancing the social and cognitive development of low- income children through the provision of health, educational, nutritional, social, and other services that are determined to be necessary based on family needs assessments. Head Start has 71 enrolled. Early Head Start promotes healthy prenatal outcomes for pregnant women, enhances the development of very young children, and promotes healthy family functioning through quality Early education, comprehensive health and mental health services, nutrition education, and family support services. Early Head Start has 55 enrolled.
