BAIHP provides education, preventative care and community health service programs to the Native American population in its service area. Medical care includes preventative, diagnostic, treatment and referral services including educational, substance abuse and mental health services/counseling. Diabetes health clinics held monthly. Registered Dietitians come in and educate clients with diabetes. Healthy diabetic meals are provided at the clinics. Education is provided to improve the health and vitality of diabetic patients.
