Maintained 933 acres of conservation Land in Bangor and levant open to the public for use for nonmotorized recreation such as nature study, hiking, skiing, and biking.
Ran two in-person nature walks for the general public; held an online lecture on black bears delivered by a state biologist; produced and distributed a self-paced "nature bingo" game; staffed a table at the Maine science festival where we handed out maps, nature bingo games, and conntected with community members; published two newsletters and maintained an active presence on social media and the organization's website.
Outreach and relationship building with key landowners around penjajawoc marsh with the goals of promoting the vital ecological importance of beavers, reducing their persecution, and increasing water levels in the marsh to improve habitat for nesting and migrant birds.
