Program areas at Banning Lewis Ranch School Foundation
Education (80%) - enhance the educational opportunities of children in the Banning Lewis Ranch community and greater Colorado springs community by supporting School development as well as education programs in local public schools where funding might otherise be limited or insufficient in light of growth. In addition, the Foundation will assist in developing and implementing new after-school programs. The Foundation seeks to support programs that enhance diversity in the community and that include parent, teacher and community involvement in development. Cultural events (10%) - support concert series, plays, lectures, seminars, farmers' markets and other culturally-based activities for the enjoyment of the general public throughout the year. Community art (10%) - support art festivals and funding for public art projects in and around the Banning Lewis Ranch community and greater Colorado springs community in areas like public parks, public facilities, and open space areas that are readily accessible to the general public.
