Program areas at Banning Ranch Conservancy
Banning Ranch Conservancy works to organize and inform residents, policy makers, funding agencies, and others about the preservation needs of Banning Ranch. We work as a strategic partner with numerous governmental and non-profit organizations. Banning Ranch Conservancy has worked with the trust for Public Land in achieving the full funding for the acquisition of the banning ranch property. The $6,830,660 grant, which we recieved in 2019, was forwarded to the trust fpr Public Land to contribute to the achievment of the full purchase price. The land sales transaction, which closed in October 2022, will put the property under the ownership of the Mountain Recreation Conservation Authority, a public agency.
