Bark Nation aims to end canine cruelty and save lives. Among its initiatives, Bark Nation provides Shelter Intervention services which offer free spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchips and City of Detroit dog licenses for owned dogs through Project Grace in collaboration with Dog Aide. Additionally, the Pitness Protection Project assists in high-level investigations for organized animal crimes in Wayne County, MI and other Michigan communities, and supports select investigative efforts nationwide. To facilitate these programs, Bark Nation operates a 14 facility located in Ferndale, MI.

In 2021, Bark Nation's Pitness Protection Project assisted in high-level investigations for organized animal crimes in Wayne County, MI, other Michigan communities, and assisted nationally on select investigative efforts. Further, Bark Nation operated a 14,000SF confidential shelter to care for all animals seized out of the aforementioned investigative efforts as live evidence.
Bark Nation's Shelter Enrichment program provided dozens of shelters in Michigan and Ohio with life-saving enrichment for the dogs in their care. Further, Bark Nation provided behavior resources, trainings and live-evidence consulting to shelters nation-wide.
Bark Nation's Shelter Intervention services included free spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchips and City of Detroit dog licenses for owned dogs in the City of Detroit through Project Grace in collaboration with Dog Aide. Further, Bark Nation provided euthanasia and crematino services, emergency medical services and supplies to select individuals/organizations to help keep their pets in safe homes.
