Barlow Ventures was established specifically to engage in non-acute hospital activities in "furtherance of the treatment and care of the sick, infirm, inflicted and aged, including the development, ownership and operation of post-acute and community based health care such as skilled nursing facilities, assisted living, home health, hospice and similar agencies; to furnish and supply related care, treatment, education, training, medical research, laboratory services and other services...". Currently, 100% of the time and resouces of Barlow Ventures are devoted to the activities of the Home Health Agency. This Home Health Agency provides services to home bound individuals residing in the greater Los Angeles area requiring skilled medical home services. Services include skilled nursing care as well as rehab services to discharged patients from Barlow Respiratory Hospital and other acute as well as skilled nursing facilities and other patients referred by physicians for servies.
