Program areas at Bartlesville Public Schools Foundation

Teacher grants - through the teacher grants program, the Foundation funds innovative programming and equipment in the classroom, funds visits from experts from a variety of subject areas, and funds teachers' attendance at and travel to conferences all over the country.
Imagination library - the dolly parton imagination library is a book- gifting program from young children (0-5 years old) that has been in operation since 1995 and is active across the world. Each month, books are mailed directly to the enrolled child's home at no cost to the parent until their 5th birthday. The books are mailed directly to the child in order to create a sense of excitement and bond with the books. The Foundation covers the cost associated with bringing this program to Bartlesville children.
Biz town - junior achievement's biztown is a hands-on initiative that gives 5th graders the opportunity to learn how a city operates and explore various careers. Students will perform the duties of city officials, business people, bank tellers, news reporters, and other occupations important to the economy and quality of life in a community. The day at biztown is the culmination of a five-week study of basic economics, giving the students the chance to see their classroom lessons come to life in the simulated real world environment.
