Program areas at Bay Area Asian Sports

Two 3rd grade teams, boys and girls, were started.An 8th grade boys team was restarted with a new coach and new players.One fundamental skills instructional program was held for 4th grade girls age group for 7 months.Total of 22 teams, ranging from 3rd grade through 12th grade, boys and girls.All Teams were required to follow Covid-19 Safety protocols and guidelines during practice and games. Our protocols and guidelines were updated throughout the year following CDC and San Francisco City and County.Teams were only able to participate in a total of 90 tournaments or leagues during the year, as many external programs were not yet available post-Covid.Our Annual basketball tournament was held with a total of 52 visiting teams participating.Two Financial Aid scholarships were provided.
