Program areas at Bay Area Financial Education Foundation

In 2023, BAFEF continued to expand its financial literacy program through student workshops. Taught by credentialed volunteers from the financial services industry, these workshops are offered to high school and college students, providing them with the basics of personal finance, which is currently not provided through California's public school system. Our classes are provided for free and cover topics including budgeting, credit, paying for college and taxes. We focus on reaching underserved and at-risk youth. The Foundation presented 65 workshops in 2023.
