Program areas at Bayanihan Equity Center

Community Services ProgramThe Community Services Program provides direct services to San Francisco older adults and adults with disabilities to maintain or improve their wellbeing. Services include case management, social activities, and educational workshops. BEC served 628 consumers for the fiscal year. Supplemental Grocery ProgramThe Supplemental Grocery Program is a bi-weekly food distribution, in which participants can access a bag of culturally-appropriate non-perishable groceries. Consumers of the SGP are low-income older adults, adults with disabilities and families living in San Francisco. BEC served an average of 209 households per distribution. Immigrant Food Assistance The Immigrant Food Assistance Program is in collaboration with the SF-Marin Food Bank's pantry network, hosting a weekly food pantry that offers fresh produce, grains and proteins. BEC served an average of 60 households per week.
