Program areas at BCSJ
BCSJ Affordable Housing & Laundry assistance Program: BCSJ utilized contributed funds and program income to cover expenses for assistance to serve 53 families (62% of its residents) with subsidized and affordable rents via application assistance,, transportation arrangements and referral assistance to 85 families of this low-income rural village consisting of 42% elderly. This process was empowered by the collaboration of Locall Public Entities and the non profit to make provisions and extend services to the underserved residents. Liasised by the nonprofit; the combined coalition maintained a data base, and documentation of records whle successfully enabling 12 to 15 famalies self suffiency. These services included the Eviction Prevention Service which served over 47 Village and nearby residents from becoming homeless, displaced, or gentrified from the pennisular that they call home via (rental assistance recieved) this application process.
BCSJ Capacity Building/Economic Stability Program/ Funds from program sevices, grants and contributions were utilized in collaborated and organized efforts to improve, maintain, orperate and promote the commmunity after the downslide experiences during post COVID. See Schedule O for more accomplishments, outcomes/results.
BCSJ Social Needs Program: BCSJ organization utilized program income and contributed funds, community facilities, shared grounds, technologies, equipment and human resources to provide food assistance (Hunger Relief Program), health assistance via workshops, screenings, application process,community education and outreach efforts that were needed due to post COVID crises, climate change and economic disparities.
