Beacon of Hope stimulates community development and growth by unlocking potential through providing food, clean clothing, and a warm place to recover from the elements during the winter months as well as life skills training for rising back above life. Beacon distributes food free of charge to those in need, with over 3,000 individuals and/or families provided on a monthly basis. Additionally, Beacon provides donated clothing to individuals.

Program areas at Beacon of Hope

In connection with their mission Beacon of Hope (Beacon) distributed food free of charge to those in need. During the year over 3,000 individuals and/or families was provided on a monthly basis. In addition Beacon provided donated clothing to individuals and/or families in need. Also Beacon provided free of charge Life Skills Training courses to those desiring to obtain employment, gain financial freedom learn how to parent, etc. These courses are in 4-6 week intervals and run fro April thru October.
