Bear Creek Council

Bear Creek Council, located in Billings, MT, works closely with park rangers and local citizens to conserve and protect the integrity of the environment and community. They distributed bear-proof trash cans to minimize conflicts between wildlife and residents, worked with restaurants to keep grease traps emptied and reused grease, supported wider regional and state-wide work of the Northern Plains Resource Council to protect land, air, water, and unique quality of life. Lastly, they continued ongoing program work that supports their local community including development.
