Program areas at Beautiful Together
ANIMAL RESCUE - In 2022, Beautiful Together rescued approximately 700 cats and dogs from overcrowded animal shelters and inhumane situations. We significantly expanded our Wellness Clinic and welcomed 3 volunteer vets. We also hired staff, expanded our volunteer network, created new community partnerships and built a town-approved road and a parking area for 200 cars.
ETHIOPIAN SUPPORT - We hired staff in Addis Ababa and set up an ongoing support program at Kidane Mehret Childrens Home. We also opened a transition home for youth aging out of the orphanage.
LOCAL YOUTH PROGRAMMING - We completed construction of our outdoor Programming Pavilion and created approximately 4 miles of walking trails throughout the property. We hosted our first youth programs at the sanctuary and launched Beautiful Together clubs in local schools.
