Program areas at Beaverhead Senior Citizens Association
Weekly lunch served to 35 to 40 seniors. 150 individuals were fed in 2023. Expenses of 38177 include ingredients, kitchen supplies, cooks wages, payroll withholding, workmans comp, and unemployment insurance premiums, payroll expenses, kitchen design, and a pro-rated portion - based on hours spent serving meals and of general building overhead expense.
Facilities and supplies made available to area seniors wishing to participate in arts and craft activities. Approximately 15 individuals participated in 2023, providing most of our seasonal decorations for the dining area. The expense of 4,493 includes a pro-rated amount of general overhead expenses related to keeping the building open plus the actual cost of craft supplies.
Building is made available to area seniors for socializing and card playing. Approximately 80 individuals use the facilities three days a week for a variety of games, puzzles, and etc. The expense of 13,877 is a pro-rated portion of general overhead expenses related to keeping the building open. The portion is based on the number of hours the building is used for the various activities. There are no direct expenses specifically for these activities.
