Program areas at Beck Institute Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavior Therapy

On-Demand courses: Beck Institute on-line training courses are designed to expand the reach of our excellent training in CBT and CT-R by making them accessible to a broader audience. Through this program, health and mental health professionals from all over the world learn evidence-based CBT from experts in the field, whereby extending access to quality mental health care for the individuals that they treat. In 2023, courses included Essentials of CBT, CBT in Practice, Personality Disorders, Depression, CBT for Anxiety, a Mindfulness course, Suicide Prevention and Recovery-Oriented Cognitive Therapy for Serious Mental Health Conditions (CT-R). We also provide several shorter format webinars. In 2023, there were over 6,000 courses taken with trainees represented throughout the United States and the world.
Workshops: Virtual web-based workshops provide trainees with live intensive, didactic and experiential learning in Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Recovery-Oriented Cognitive Therapy (CT-R) through the use of lecture, discussion, and role-play. Approximately 800 trainees attended our workshops in 2023.
Training for Organizations: Beck Institute provides lecturers and keynote speakers around the U.S. and the world to present workshops both virtually and on-site at mental health and related organizations. Speakers offer a wide range of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Recovery-Oriented Cognitive Therapy (CT-R) topics, focusing on the practical application of CBT and CT-R including tailor-made programs (that may include but are not limited to didactic presentations, multimedia, demonstrations, and role-plays) based on the needs of the specific organization requesting training. In 2023, Beck Institute provided approximately 120 days of training across the United States, as well as the countries of China, Japan, India and Turkey. The mission of The Beck Institute Center for Recovery-Oriented Cognitive Therapy (CT-R) is to improve the lives of individuals with serious mental health condition diagnosis, along with their providers and families. All (CT-R) implementations involve focus groups, workshops, and ongoing consultation typically for a 6 to 9 month period.
Clinical Program: Beck Institute provides individuals, couples, and families Cognitive Behavior Therapy services on an outpatient basis to adults and adolescents, for a wide range of psychiatric disorders. In 2023, Beck Institute conducted approximately 2,500 patient sessions.Weight Management Program - In 2023, Beck Institute provided approximately 700 client sessions. Beck Institute also held several virtual webinars and group coaching sessions in 2023. Supervision and Consultation - In 2023, approximately 450 sessions were conducted through our Supervision program, which provides one-on-one guidance and support from expert Beck Institute faculty.
