Program areas at Begin Again Foundation
Through a grant to the Patient Advocate Foundation, the Begin Again Foundation assisted with providing assistance to patients with ARDS (Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome), Sepsis, and/or TSS (Toxic Shock Syndrome) physician verified diagnosis to help with rent, medication, transportation, utility or grocery expenses. Begin Again Foundations Angel Fund awards one-time $1,000 grants to bereaved families to assist with the expense of laying a loved one who has passed from sepsis, ARDS or TSS to rest.
The Begin Again Foundations Period Planners program is committed to providing access to safe feminine hygiene products to women experiencing housing insecurity across the country and education on toxic shock syndrome.
Through specific grants to the Butterfly Blessings of the Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters, the Begin Again Foundation was able to provide assistance to families of patients in the hospital who demonstrated a severe hardship. The grants are to be used to help with expenses related to transportation, meals, medications, household utilities and more.
