Program areas at Believers United for Progress
Community Kitchen - The organization provides nutritious meals as well as distributes food boxes to families and individuals who live on the street, in shelters, and/or are under-employed. Additionally, in 2022, as part of the Community Kitchen, BUFP also delivered meals to Seniors in low-income housing complexes, to an after-school program in a housing complex, and to individuals living on the street. A total of 18,173 hot meals were provided (onsite and delivered); almost 4,300 food boxes that provided meals to households with more than 13,100 members were distributed.
