Belt Performing Arts Center

Advancement of Arts and education:in alignment with its mission to advance youth, amateur and professional live theatrical and artistic productions in Belt and the central Montana region, to enrich the lives of its residents and youth through exposure to and participation in the humanities, the Belt Theater Company kicked off its fourth season which included 8 performances. Four artists were able to do educational outreach with the local school and students were offered the opportunity to interact with a professional artist both at the school and the Theater. Additionally, this year marked the much anticipated debute of "mine tailings: the valley", the first installment in a series of plays based in part on the organizations own oral history project, "Belt story".
