Program areas at Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks - 383 Missoula Hell Gate
Scholarships: we host a golf tournament every june to raise scholarship funds. For the year ending march 31, 2024, we provided $13,000 in scholarships.
General charity: we received $8,500 in grants from elks national foundation for warmth for winter, a kid's clothing drive, and raised another $2,000 from members. We purchased $10,000 worth of clothing and donated it to Missoula county public schools.
Veterans service commission: welcome home kits provided to help veterans transition into housing. This program is administered and funded through the national association and locally executed. We donated a total of $2,784 to veteran causes.
